Staff

Our treatment team consist of Provisionally Registered Psychologists. All staff have completed a minimum of 3 years of undergraduate study in Psychology and at least one year Post Graduate studies in Psychology. Their practice is fully supervised by a Senior Psychologist/ Supervisor.

Kat Howting – Provisional Psychologist

Kat (she/her pronouns) has a warm, empathic, client-centred approach. She values individual differences and open-mindedness and brings a non-judgmental perspective to her work. Kat has experience with clients across the lifespan and from diverse backgrounds having worked within community and forensic settings. She enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families and has a strong interest in positive psychology. Kat aims to bring modality integration and flexibility to her practice.

   George Phlorides – Provisional Psychologist

George has an interest in working collaboratively with clients who may be presenting with issues of anxiety, depression, social/relationship difficulties, or academic/work-related concerns. George has experience working with children, adolescents and adults in the areas of disability and mental health within the family, community and forensic settings

  Laura Viana Lopez – Provisional Psychologist

Laura has experience working with clients of all ages and has a warm, client-centered approach. She is interested in working alongside clients with diverse cultural backgrounds and has experience using key therapeutic techniques for a variety of mental health-related issues such as anxiety and depression. She is fluent in English and Spanish.

  Yukti Mehta – Provisional Psychologist

Yukti is interested in depression and anxiety disorders, she has experience in working with clients who present with complex mental health. Her interest is in helping clients improve their personal functioning . Yukti is multilingual in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.

  Stephanie Fletcher – Provisional Psychologist

Stephanie adopts a warm, empathic, collaborative approach to treatment and seeks to gain an in-depth understanding of each client.  She uses a client-centered approach and applies a variety of evidence-based interventions to facilitate positive change. 

  Katy Dib – Managing Director/ Supervisor

Katy has been a registered Psychologist and Supervisor since 2007. She is a founder and Managing Director of Melbourne Affordable Psychology.

  Peter Eide – Director/ Supervisor

Peter is a fully registered Psychologist and Supervisor. He is a founder and Director of Melbourne Affordable Psychology.
